A colleague introduced me to the 1619 New York Times Podcast Series. The quote below and the information in the podcast are incredibly important and inspirational that we can do better. Dr. Cobb’s work and the history of the evolution of healthcare in our country are immediately relevant to our city, our institution, our curriculum and assessment changes, and the health care decisions facing our state and our country. I hope you will have the time to listen and read. I am humbled, yet again, by how much I still have to learn.
