Profession: Doctor of Physical Therapy student
Hometown: Hercules, California. Growing up in this tight-knit Bay Area community taught me the value of listening first and meeting people where they are—habits that shape how I practice and lead today.
What Physical Therapy brings to the team: PT keeps the long game in sight. We’re movement detectives who translate a patient’s goals into practical steps—bridging the gap between “treatment plan” and “daily life.” On an interprofessional team, that means spotting functional barriers early, coordinating rehab with other providers, and turning big medical wins into everyday victories for the patient.
Why I joined HPSLC: I’ve seen firsthand that great outcomes happen when professions overlap instead of operate in silos. HPSLC is the perfect place to practice that spirit of collaboration while we’re still in training—and to have some fun doing it.
My superpower: Building community. Whether it’s organizing a case-study “mystery round” or rallying volunteers for a homeless-outreach project, I love turning a group of strangers into a team with a shared mission.
