What Your Profession Brings to the Team: Genetic conditions can impact all systems of the body. Genetic counselors can help ensure all patients affected by a genetic condition see the right providers to manage their condition, keep up to date on screenings, and provide resources. Genetic counselors also emphasize the psychosocial aspects of a genetic condition by educating patients on the psychological and familial implications of the disease.

Why You Joined HPSLC: I joined HPSLC because I love working on a team and seeing how my work as an individual can make an impact on the overall goal. I enjoy hearing new perspectives and learning about how different providers can help support my future patients.
