What Your Profession Brings to the Team: Genetic counselors help patients understand their genetic conditions and provide the support needed for informed decision-making. We combine scientific knowledge with counseling skills to ensure patients receive comprehensive care.

Why You Joined HPSLC: I joined HPSLC to be able to meet and learn from people that take on different roles within the healthcare setting. I think that this experience will make everybody more comfortable in an interprofessional team and be able to facilitate discussions that aid in collaboration and teamwork skills.

Your Superpower: Open-mindedness. My superpower is being open-minded and actively listening to others, which enhances teamwork.
