Congratulations to Jake Raecker of PT20 on being selected as one of two finalists in the 2nd annual physical therapy essay contest, co-sponsored by the ACAPT Consortium for the Humanities, Ethics, and Professionalism (CHEP) and the Journal for Humanities in Rehabilitation (JHR). This writing competition aims to invite deep, critical reflection by physical therapy students. The evaluators indicated that Jake’s essay, which will be published in an upcoming issue of JHR, “demonstrates this aim with grace and humility.”
Congratulations to Quenten Hooker (Movement Science PhD Candidate) whose top-ranked abstract was selected for an oral presentation at the WU Musculoskeletal Research Center (MRC) Symposium. Because he had a top abstract, Quenten will also receive a travel award from the MRC to support attendance at a scientific or career development conference of his choice.
Nicole Erbes of PT19 was selected as the next WUPT Women’s Health Resident.
