In a world where content is widely accessible, what brings Gen Z students to class? Collaboration, shared problem-solving, and connection. Thoughtfully designed team-based learning is where faculty make the difference.

Dr. Tracey Taylor and I will co-facilitate an upcoming session titled “Engaging GenZ in Health Professions Education Through TBL” on January 28, 11 am EST / 4 pm GMT. Join us and learn to effectively teach and connect with today’s students.

We will use application activities and an immersive e-Gallery walk designed to help you engage with real-world teaching challenges.

Learning objectives:

  1. Identify personal and generational characteristics utilizing a self-assessment activity
  2. Analyze key literature-based Gen Z characteristics and contrast them with previous generations of students
  3. Develop strategies to design and deliver health professions education to meet the needs of Gen Z learners
