Executive Faculty Approves New Compensation Structure

“The Executive Faculty approved a new compensation structure for all required course-, clerkship- and thread-directors. This results in an increase in support for curriculum leads in the existing curriculum from 9.5 to 12.8 total FTE (or the equivalent of more than 3 full individuals). It also increases funding to these required courses by close to $1 million dollars. This is a huge investment in our educational faculty and existing curriculum from our dean and the department chairs and represents the culmination of work initiated by the Teaching Support Task Force over two years ago.” -Eva Aagaard, M.D., Dean of Education
